Oh, I love that workstation! I have very little counter space in my kitchen, NINE feet total! I also have no cabinet space, so I had hubby build me a “pantry” just outside the kitchen door in the garage.
My pantry holds all of my pots and pans, along with all of our food and appliances. It would be great to have something like this workstation to add counter space.

i love the tote set!
I love catalogues, no really, I love them! But they take over my small apartment very quickly. Periodically, I throw them away but always wind up keeping “just a few” convinced I absolutely have to have that 1 item on page 57.
With the holiday catalogue season approaching, this year I decided to try something different. *First, new rule: One in, one out. If I want to keep one even for a day, I have to throw one away. This has helped a lot! *Second, new practice: Tear out the page of something I think I want, and put it in a set of colored files (red=me, blue=grandson, pink=granddaughter, green=son & daughter-in-law, orange=anyone else). 5 files takes up way less room than a stack of catalogues!!
We don’t have a lot of single-use gadgets, and we do try to efficiently use our cabinets, but there still just isn’t room for everything in our kitchen. Rarely-used items (giant stock pot, certain cake pans, raclette) are in the basement, and seldom-used items (ice-cream maker, plastic boxes of cookie cutters, sushi-making set) are on top of the kitchen cabinets. This seemed to be functional until earlier this year, when my husband tried to get something down from about the cabinets, and was beaned by the past maker–he still has a scar on his forehead. Is there some mysterious extra storage area we haven’t thought of, or do we really have that much stuff?

I have a very small kitchen and the cart would be a perfect solution. I could put it against the wall when I don’t need it but pull it out when I am cooking.
I have no storage area for paper products and small appliances. Right now I keep my paper products in a coat closet. I have to put my small appliances in my old dirty dungeon of a basement.
I can’t figure out how to store all of the various serving pieces that I have. Big platters, bowls, trays, etc.
They’re all different sizes and shapes, and they’ve taken over a VERY large cabinet in my kitchen that I know could be much better organized, in order to store additional stuff!!

Eureka! You’ve given me a great idea to solve a problem I have in the laundry area of my kitchen. Wouldn’t this cart make a GREAT folding table? And I could use drawers and shelf for storing some of my lesser-used laundry supplies. I have a fairly wide empty space in this area (for a freezer I neither need nor own), but I’ve hesitated about having something built in. And since it’s visible in the kitchen, I haven’t wanted to use something as simple as a card table, even as a temporary measure. This cart would be a perfect solution to that little dilemma, plus I could use it for extra serving or storage space when entertaining. Perfect! Thank you!

While I have undercabinet storage that most would die for, I have a problem with my counter tops. The upper cabinets are so low that I have a workspace that’s either not tall enough to accommodate an average bread machine for example and/or a poorly lit area where I can’t see what I’m doing. That little number at the top of the post would give me some elbow room AND it can be put near my well-lit windows! LOL

My fiancee and I have been combining households and don’t seem to have anywhere near enough space for everything.
Our main solution is to donate as much as possible. In these tough economic times there are definitely those in need. Now we just need to go through everything again and see if we can squeeze out a few more items.
My storage situation in the kitchen is abysmal. We have a little metal cart with all the appliances on it, but because they are on open shelves, they get bumped constantly. We have broken both the coffee pot and the blender pitcher because of this. I like that this storage cart has deep drawers. We could put our pots/pans in there and move the appliances into the under counter cabinets. I would love to win any of these great prizes!
My storage problem is that too much happens in my kitchen. I can’t find space for the kids’ crafting supplies that they use everyday, the holiday stuff, etc. While I have a good size kitchen, I have no other storage.

Live in a very old house, with amazingly little storage space. Particularly the kitchen, whose shelves aren’t deep enough for standard modern plates. So, the cabinet doors are stuck open 1/2″! Frustrating….

I just tonight bought Kitchenaid Mixer. It’s something that I saved and saved for and am so excited, that I almost cryed when I bought it. the cart would work great for me as well, as i have a very small kitchen, with very sparse counter space being the biggest issue. i do have an adjoining dining room where i could store the cart and then wheel it in when i need extra counterspace. until then, i just try to keep kitchen tools that i have to the very basics that i need.
When my Mom and I were doing a minor remodel of our kitchen this summer, the floor guys decided to move my ancient microwave cart without unloading it first. Needless to say it collapsed into pieces and I’ve not been able to replace it. We desperately need something to take its place. Our microwave is still sitting in the floor of my Mom’s bedroom. I never knew how much we used it until we couldn’t. The Kitchen Workstation would be perfect!
The main problem with my kitchen storage is… I have none! A couple small cupboards, but that’s it. Food and dishes take up most of the space, as well as cleaning supplies and other kitchen items. I just try to cram pots and pans in among the canned food! I haven’t though of a solution yet, but maybe the Kitchen Workstation is the answer 🙂
My main storage problem in my kitchen is lack of useable cabinet space. So my solution is to keep many of my non-used-often things on a shelf in my laundry room downstairs. And I make myself purge through stuff after a couple of years.
I must admit that I would love to have any of these for myself. But I am hoping to win because for each one I can think of someone who could really use them. It would be a great surprise Christmas present.
We live in a very old house, with almost no storage or living space! Especially in the kitchen , we can’t even fit the family all in at one time to eat together!, Our kitchen shelves aren’t deep enough for standard plates. So, we finally removed the sliding doors from the cabinets and painted the shelves and have an “open” cabinet. The Kitchen workstation would be a life saver!
We went through a house fire. And of course the Kitchen was part of it. I really miss my cupboards. We have purchased some. But not at all of what I had. So storage is hard. I ended up taking my spare bathroom tub and putting my extra stuff in there. So I cant wait to get more cupboards so I can have my tub back. I would love to have any of these but really love the workstation.

I moved to a new town into a very small studio apartment. When I say small I lived in maybe 300 sq ft of space. I learned how to throw things away … I upgraded a year later since my contract was up anyway and looked for something bigger. I twiced the size of my apartment but got shafted on the kitchen. I have a large kitchen and absolutely no cabinet space. I can’t even cook pancakes. I have about a 2 ft long counter beside my sink and one that’s the same size directly across from it. That’s it. The rest is taken by my stove, fridge, and sink. I have a whole wall with blank space that I need to fill with something I can use for a counter. I have so many appliances I have on the counterspace I don’t really have to give up … a mixer, a blender, toaster, waffle maker. I don’t have the room in the kitchen that I was looking for. I wanted to upgrade and I wasn’t rewarded. My answer to my appliance clutter is your kitchen worktable!!!
My storage problem is that things don’t have a place to go so it all just gets dumped in a pile on the table and countertops.
I would love to win this workstation. We have a huge paper problem in our kitchen. Every countertop is overflowing. Coupons, school papers, homework, bills, receipts, schedules, to do lists… on and on there’s no where to go w/ it all. I could also use this as a makeshift homework desk and as a beverage area for parties.
I have a large open plan with kitchen running into family room into breakfast nook. Unfortunately this leads to very little built-in storage in the kitchen. I dont know where to put my oversized stockpots and serving pieces without breaking anything else. Also one of the cabinets in the kitchen is overrun with medicines/supplies as I need to store these in a dry, easily accessible place. The giveaways will of course help but I am also looking for organization ideas for my storage quandry.
I love that workstation! I cook and bake alot so the extra workspace would be perfect for my kitchen. Plastic storage containers and the medicine cabinet counter area are the bane of my existence.
I recenly moved to an apartment about twice as big as my previous one and I *STILL* don’t have enough room!
I just have too much stuff, not enough space, no organizational skills, and the storage space I DO have is just inadequate.
My kitchen is sort of like a Rubics cube, if everything does not go just where it belongs, it won’t all fit. I have very very little cabinet or counter top space so this would be extremely helpful!

What happens when the footpad on your wheelchair crashes into the kitchen cabinet before you reach the counter? You don’t reach the counter. Having a workstation on wheels that has a toe-kick of sorts gives me that extra height I need to reach everything I need.
I would love to have that workstation.
We only have kitchen cabinets on one side of the kitchen since it has a huge window on the other side that goes almost to the floor. I could use this extra counter space and extra storage so that I can take things off the top of my cabinets.
It would also be a great place to use for keeping the kids lunch boxes and lunch supplies in one handy spot. It would make preparing lunches easier in the mornings too. It is hard to fix lunch and try to get breakfast all on one area of counter.

My kitchen storage dilemma is that my husband is addicted to beer glassware and that’s taken the prime real estate. I want the kitchen workstation to store our plates and cookware.
If I don’t win that, I would love the file sorters for work. I have lots and lots of piles covering a table–it may be time to turn them vertical.

I could have more room, if I would just get rid of more things. I have a pantry, but I use it more like a closet. I do aspire to be more organized & I think this site will help.
Having an old kitchen with zero storage, I took my cues from Julia Child. I bought a large peg board and mounted it on the wall to hang my pots and pans. Not liking the brown industrial look though, I covered it in a nice wallpaper and then carefully put the hooks in to hang the pans. Now if someone would come up with a device that would hook on to my peg board that would hold my casserole dishes I’d be set.
This isn’t so much for me, as it is for my parent’s-in-law whom my wife and I lived with for about a year. They have a manufactured home which immediately limits their counter space. Dad has replaced the linoleum floor with a nice wood one and so the workstation would look great in their kitchen! What would be great about this product is that it adds about two feet of counter space. By using the workstation, my folks would be free to use their other counter space to hold the myriad of appliances that they have.
The workstation looks great! I have a problem finding spots for my pots/pans and their lids. I’m trying to figure out if I have too many or someway to stack them better.
I have a very small kitchen too and I love to cook. I have such a small amount of storage space that in order to keep my kitchen counter relatively tidy, I use my oven to store my skillets and larger pans and my dishwasher to store my baking needs and various odd shaped platters. Needless to say I don’t use my dishwasher because I don’t want to unload it to load it. hehe I also bought a bedroom armoire and configured it into the kitchen on the only free wall I have. It stores our cereals and all my tupperware. We put a power strip in it and use the one shelf as our charging station for our cell phones. The two drawers underneath are used for all our kitchen towels, large platters and lasagna pans. I drooled when I saw the work station because even though I found places for most stuff, I am still left with very little counter space on which to make cookies, pies, etc. What a treat that would be to get double the work area!
I could really use a workstation like that. I always seem to be short on work space in the kitchen or my office. What I have done recently is place a tall cabinet in my basement to store extra things for my kitchen and also rolling plastic containers to store my extra appliances. Im still in need of storage space for my craft supplies.
I have an eat in kitchen, no dining room, so my hutch is all storage, and clutter. I could use this workstation to get some stuff out of the hutch, and to replace the microwave cart that is held together with a thousand screws. I also could use a new fridge! Everything is 20 years old!
The problem with our kitchen is that the counters are too low and deep. By the time you put everything away, you have no idea what is down low and way in the back. Things get lost. There’s also a rather large corner spot that is completely useless except for spider webs. You can get to anything down there, but its really alot of space not being used at all.
I have too many beloved pans and not enough storage space in my small kitchen. Help!

My kitchen only has one cabinet section! There is a floor cabinet with a chopping block on it and one cabinet mounted above that. Because of the chopping block location, any food prep has to be done here. Basically, only one person can operate in the kitchen at a single time because you basically block access to most of the dishes etc.
The kitchen is not small per se, there is a large open space where such a workstation as the one you are offering could go, but as a medical student I can’t afford to buy it!
I have issues with my party items and storage. Items like wine and other drink glasses, plus chargers and other serving pieces end up on my table with no wear to go. I have now taken over the guest room closet for additional storage but it’s not the best solution. Still trying to get it done better.

Storage? Not even familiar with the term in my kitchen. We have a galley kitchen. To make matters worse, the previous owner decided that attaching a huge long table covered in the same ugly formica as the countertops to one of the two long walls was genius. It’s not. My solution (someday soon) will be to remove the obnoxious table, knock down the wall and install an island/breakfast bar with cabinets below it.
Until then…you don’t even wanna know.
Big Cheerios boxes – the two pack size. Where do they go in a kitchen? We have resorted to storing such items in the basement. Meanwhile, the kitchen, while spacious (read that as airy), holds a meager load in its pantry space.

We have a nice sized kitchen but there isn’t enough counter top space for two of us to work in there at the same time! We have our “dream” remodel all planned but the economy has put that dream on hold for a lengthy time. The workstation would make waiting a lot easier. 😉

I have a 1950s kitchen that is not very well laid out. This is too big for my kitchen but my sister could sure use it since she gave her kitchen table to her daughter who just graduated from college. I did see some other smaller ones on the website that might work for me.

Our kitchen is horrible for clutter. We have no counter space at all and we have had to put a lot of our dinnerware into storage just because we don’t have enough room. It could surely use a renovation in the future. With the economy so bad (especially here in Michigan) it is tough to fine the money to expand a kitchen (not such a high priority considering other things). This would help a lot for freeing up some counterspace allowing both my wife and I to work at the same time.
My oldest son requires a gluten-free/casein-free diet. Because of this, we buy grains in 6-gallon buckets. I, then, grind the grains into flour to make his meals. The problem is that 6-gallon buckets don’t fit in standard cabinets! Although I still have more buckets than I can store in my small kitchen, I have found a solution. My husband removed the shelving boards in our lower cabinets. Now, each cabinet can hold 4 of the 6-gallon buckets!

We have a kitchen cabinet with a built in lazy susan. I use that area to store baking items (various sugars, flours, spices, etc.). If only someone made plastic storage ware that was pie-shaped so that space wasn’t wasted! I find it frustrating opening the cabinet up and seeing all the unused area.
I can see this cascading nicely as, with more room underneath to store, I would be able to move other things off the counter.
What ideal space-saving solutions! Right now I’m trying to manage my shoes with limited closet space, and the stackable shoe storage could so easily fill a vertical space along the wall inside my closet. Thank you for the great suggestion.

I am a military wife and the problem is that we move from base to base and there never seems to be a big enough kitchen for our necessities.
