Maintaining Your Decluttered Space

We had a ball over on my other blog with the August Declutter Challenge last month.

Everyone was so motivated and I just knew that if we didn’t do something, ANYTHING, to maintain those beautiful decluttered spaces, 80% of participants would fall back to the old ways.
It’s nothing against them, or you; it’s just a fact of life.

If you don’t change your lifestyle, you’ll revert to your former ways.

Like with weight loss…you can go on a diet and lose weight because you’ve living on water and rabbit food (salad greens) but the minute you start eating normally again, you pile it all back on.

And so The Friday Declutter Challenge was born, to inspire you to live a decluttered lifestyle.

Every week people from all over the world link up and show off what they’ve decluttered. Sometimes it’s not really things you can take pictures off (like email) but just posting about your progress makes you accountable and gives you the support you need.

Your challenge for the next week
Declutter something – whether it’s from one room, from many rooms, from your computer. Just do something, okay?
