Organize Your Golf Equipment
July 17, 2012
This article is for all you golfers out there. Are you tired of propping your golf bag up and having it fall over? Are you often in search of your golf glove, shoes or spare tees? What is the best way to store your golf equipment so it stays protected and out of the way? Here are my favorite solutions:
- Off the Ground – consider a wall-mounted rack that can hold two golf bags and two pair of shoes. It doesn’t take up floor space, and keeps the bags flush against the wall. This is typically the least expensive solution.
- Need Flexibility? – try a free-standing rack. It compactly stores two golf bags, and it has several shelves for shoes, towels, etc. and a bin for loose balls and tees. Not only is this a great design, but if you want to move it from the garage to the basement during the winter…no problem. Since it is not bolted down, you can move it as you like.
- Available Seating – a more elaborate version of the free-standing rack includes a bench that you can sit on to change your shoes.
- Off-Season– If you need the extra space in the garage for winter gear, or if you would prefer to keep your golf equipment out of the cold, then a free-standing rack is your best solution.
Remember, a place for everything and everything in its place. Golf equipment is no exception. If you have a dedicated spot to store it, you will not only maximize your space, but you will protect your gear.
