Shoe Organizer for the Summer Season!
May 31, 2013
I am starting to be able to feel it in the air – summertime is upon us! This is the time of year that is perfect for spending time outdoors, whether it is camping, swimming or hiking! The summer requires a unique mix of footwear, so finding the perfect shoe organizer for the out-of-season attire is a must!
During the months of May, June, July, August and even September, my footwear of chose is a comfy pair of sandals. Going to the grocery store, taking the kids to school, and just about every other activity will have me in a pair of flip-flops.
What shoes will be tossed into the shoe organizer?
One pair of shoes I certainly will not be caught dead in are Crocs. In my opinion, no one over the age of 12 should wear these silly-colored foam foot covers, unless said person is on their way home from their nursing job (if you are wearing scrubs you get an auto pass in my book). Into the shoe organizer with you, Crocs!
During the winter, I prefer to wear a pair of heavy-duty boots. What is great about these boots is that they keep my little toes warm and dry. Nothing is worse than trudging home from a long day at work only to discover your shoes have leaked and your socks are soaking wet. That is why these are great winter-time shoes. But work boots in the summer? Into the shoe organizer with you, winter-time boots!
During the spring and fall I like to keep it casual and wear my tried-and-true Chucks. You may know them more formally as Converse All-Stars. These shoes have been immortalized by a wide range of pop culture icons, from Joey Ramone to Miley Cyrus. But I wear them because they are so comfortable, I don’t care how cool they look. But in the summer, the canvas material is just too much for my sweaty feet to handle. Into the shoe organizer with you, beat up Chuck All-Stars!
What is this organizer I am speaking of? It is the Hanging Men’s Shoe Bag. It is heavy duty enough to hold all of my shoes, plus it has a convenient design that is easy to tuck away in the closet.
