Product of the Week: The Expandable Wine Bar

I’m always the biggest fan of products that have multiple benefits, especially when it comes to furniture.

What are my current needs?  Well, my house isn’t exactly what you’d call spacious.  I call it “cozy”.  A modest one bedroom house for my hubby and me.  Just enough space for the two of us, our two cats and our freshwater aquarium.  We don’t need much space and do well with the little space we have.

The key to success is furnishing our house with space saving furniture pieces.  Recently, we decided it was time for a better wine storage solution.  But, I didn’t want a tabletop wine rack because our kitchen is already lacking counter space.  And a wall mounted rack wouldn’t do either, because we rent and the landlord won’t allow any major installation.

Luckily, there is a small patch of unused space just off the kitchen – perfect for this Expandable Wine Bar by Winsome Trading.

What’s great about this wine storage cabinet is that it starts of measuring only 16″ wide but can open up to 50″ wide.  We definitely don’t need it to be expanded all the time, so there’s no worry about available space.

But Hubby and I love to entertain, especially with our fellow winos!  When it comes time for our next even, all we have to do is open this baby up and we can serve wine, appetizers and other cocktails.

And not to mention, this wine cabinet is very stylish, with a timeless and transitional look.  We won’t have to worry about it looking outdated anytime soon.  And it’s perfectly sized for nine bottles (which is all we really have on hand at any given time) plus a few glasses. A very sensible choice, I must say!
